Hi, OPPO!
I’m thinking about taking myself and my father to the Hungarian GP this summer. I’ve never been to an F1 race before and I want to ask if you can recommend me a website to buy tickets from, maybe get them a little cheaper or maybe they come on sale at some point, since I don’t really have that big of a budget. Also, where’s the best place on track to sit and watch the race because I saw that the tickets are divided into zones?

I think Gabor V has been to that race. https://kinja.com/GaborVajda
As far as getting tickets cheaper, I don’t know. CotA over here has some deals the earlier you buy.

definitely worth while getting a grandstand ticket if your budget stretches that far.
as for location , no idea never been to that track (only ever been to Spa - not on GP weekend , and Albert Park , Melbourne Australia - 19 times)

Went to the USGP at COTA in 2013. We got grandstand seats for the weekend at the end of turn 12 (paid around $600/head). We only needed the seats for race day however, plenty of space Friday and Saturday.
That was a few years ago though and F1 isn’t nearly as popular in the US as it is everywhere else. So at another track, you might wants seats all weekend.
Watch highlights from previous years to see where most of the action is and get your seats as close as you can to that location. Just know that tickets there will be priced accordingly. We bought our tickets from the F1 website.
Definitely do it, I’ll be headed back to Austin next year for Moto GP and or F1.
